Diamond Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is one of the gentlest, fastest, non-invasive anti-aging treatments. Helps to minimize the appearance of surface lines,
smooths rough dry skin, aides in clearing mild acne, and fades hyper pigmentation due to sun damage. Microdermabrasion stimulates
blood flow which increases the nutrition delivered to skin cells. This improves skin's elasticity, texture and leaves skin replenished with a healthy glow.
Who is it for?
The best results are seen by treating people with fine lines, skin discoloration, and people with dull, dry skin and mild acne.
Our custom Microdermabrasion facials focus to improve skin texture and tone. It boosts the production of collagen and elastin in the skin, reduces brown spots and helps prevent

Before Microdermabrasion

Seven days prior to treatment, discontinue using all alpha hydroxy acid products (those containing glycolic or lactic acid),

salicylic acid products, retinoids (Retin A, Renova, Differin and Tazorac) and other topical acne medications such as benzoyl peroxide.

Avoid the following procedures for a minimum of 7 days before microdermabrasion:

Waxing, Tweezing, Electrolysis, Chemical peels, Laser treatments (any kind), Injections (Collagen & BOTOX) and Facials

It's not recommended if you have skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, active sunbruns, open sores, psorasis, or widespread acne.

What to Expect After Microdermabrasion Treatment

After the first microdermabrasion treatment, the complexion will have a pink or red glow, which typically fades after a day. Redness may last slightly longer.

You may experience itchiness and a mild sunburn-like sensation which can last up to two days afterwards.

You may also experience flaking, peeling and dryness of the skin – usually on the 3rd or 4th days after the treatment, this is normal.

You must protect your skin every day with a full spectrum sunscreen that protects both UVA and UVB with an SPF of 30 or higher.

For the first 24-48 hours, use a mild cleanser and  keep skin well hydrated. Drink plenty of water and apply a good daily and nightly moisturizer.

Do not use glycolic, alpha hydroxy, beta hydroxy, retinol, benzoyl peroxide or topical acne medications for three (3) days following treatment.

Refrain from waxing, electrolysis or other hair removal methods for thirty (30) days.

Avoid sun beds for at least one week.

Failure to follow these instructions may result in prolonged healing or other complications post microdermabrasion treatment.
